Bratwurst in wildbrine® Garlic & Dill Sauerkraut


1 18 oz. jar wildbrine® Garlic & Dill Sauerkraut
1 large onion, sliced 1/4” thick
1 ½ tsp caraway seeds
2 TBSP oil
1 TBSP butter
Salt & Pepper to taste
4 - 5 bratwurst


To prepare the mustard sauce:

1/4 cup yellow mustard
¼ cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey
1 TBSP horseradish

Mix to combine.


Put 2 TBSP oil and 1 TBSP butter in large sauté pan. Add onions and sauté until soft and translucent.

Add bratwurst and caraway seeds. Slowly braise bratwurst and onions until brown. Add the Garlic & Dill Sauerkraut, sauté over low heat for 20-30 minutes, uncovered.

Serve with mustard sauce.
