

Bratwurst and Sauerkraut Recipe with Mustard Sauce
Bratwurst and sauerkraut are like peas and carrots, peanut butter and jelly, or Luke and Leia. This super easy recipe comes together in a flash, great for the weeknight family flurry. The distinctive tang from wildbrine's Garlic and Dill Kraut gives the dish great depth and all the flavor you could want. INGREDIENTS NEEDED
2 TBSP olive oil
1 TBSP butter
1 large onion, sliced 1/4” thick
4 - 5 bratwurst
1 ½ tsp caraway seeds
1 18 oz. jar wildbrine® Garlic & Dill Sauerkraut
Salt & pepper to taste
Mustard Sauce:
1/4 cup yellow mustard
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey, or to taste
1 TBSP horseradish
PREP
To prepare the mustard sauce:
In a small bowl, mix all ingredients together to combine.
DIRECTIONS
Put 2 TBSP oil and 1 TBSP butter in large sauté pan. Add onions and sauté until soft and translucent.
Add bratwurst and caraway seeds. Slowly braise bratwurst and onions until brown. Add wildbrine Garlic & Dill Sauerkraut, sauté over low heat for 20-30 minutes, uncovered.
Serve with mustard sauce.
