One of our many recipes with sauerkraut will do the trick deliciously, but this savory sauerkraut pancake recipe kicks it up a notch with our Caraway Apple Organic Kraut. Enjoy these kraut cakes as a side for kielbasa or your favorite smoked sausage — you’ll love them as much as we do.
2 c. wildbrine Apple Caraway Organic Kraut, drained
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 egg
Paprika
Oil for frying
20 minutes
1. Mix together the kraut and all other ingredients in a medium bowl.
2. Heat oil in sauté pan and spoon a heaping tablespoon of mixture into the pan. Cook on both sides until golden brown.
3. Serve with either applesauce or sour cream.
